Willkommen in Prittwitz. Der gefeierte afrodeutsche Autor Sebastian Klein (Jerry Hoffmann) ist auf Lesereise in der ostdeutschen Provinz und wird von den ortsansässigen Neonazis standesgemäß begrüßt: mit einem Schlag auf den Kopf. Sebastian verliert prompt sein Gedächtnis und plappert alles nach, was man ihm sagt. Nina (Liv Lisa Fries), Sebastians hochschwangere Freundin in Berlin, ist in höchster Aufregung. Kurzerhand fährt sie nach Prittwitz und setzt sich zusammen mit dem Dorfpolizisten Sascha (Oliver Bröcker) auf die Fersen ihres Freundes. Der ist in der Hand der rechten Kameraden und ihres Anführers Sven (Benno Fürmann) und fühlt sich pudelwohl. Feixend tingelt er durch die Talkshows und drischt die Parolen, die Sven ihm einflüstert. Ein 'Schwarzer', der gegen Integration wettert - die Öffentlichkeit ist aus dem Häuschen. Und Sven sieht sich endlich auf dem Weg zum Meinungsführer. Bei seiner Angebeteten, der Nazibraut Doreen (Anna Brüggemann), kann er damit aber nicht punkten. Die will Taten sehen. Historische Taten. Und so rüstet Sven seine Leute zum großen Showdown, während beim Verfassungsschutz die linke Hand nicht weiß, was die rechte tut, und beide gerade nicht ins Internet kommen. Was kann die Welt jetzt noch retten? Und was die Liebe von Nina und Sebastian?
'Heil' ist eine kreischend komische Liebeskomödie und bitterböse Gesellschaftssatire, in der alle durch den Kakao gezogen werden. Die alten rechtsradikalen Schläger und die neuen, sich harmlos gebenden 'Nipster'. Die liberalen Intellektuellen mit ihren Denkverboten. Die 'Antifa' mit ihren Schwarzweiß-Feindbildern. Der Verfassungsschutz mit seinem grotesken Bürokratie-Wirrwarr. Der Kulturbetrieb mit seinem prätentiösen Kunst-Blabla. Und nicht zuletzt die Medienöffentlichkeit, die süchtig ist nach Erregung und sich ihre eigene Wirklichkeit schafft. Rasant und rasend zugleich inszeniert, ist 'Heil' eine schrille Farce über die Lage der Nation, der nichts heilig ist. Dieser Film musste endlich gemacht werden! Nach seinen mehrfach preisgekrönten Filmen 'Neun Szenen' (2006), 'Renn, wenn Du kannst' (2010), '3 Zimmer / Küche / Bad' (2012) und 'Kreuzweg' (2014) ist 'Heil' (2015) der fünfte Spielfilm von Dietrich Brüggemann. Für die Haupt- und Nebenrollen konnte er deutsche Schauspielstars wie Benno Fürmann, Jacob Matschenz, Liv Lisa Fries, Hanns Zischler oder auch Michael Gwisdek gewinnen. Daneben können sich die Zuschauer auf Gastauftritte von unter anderem Heinz Rudolf Kunze, Dietrich Kuhlbrodt, Thees Uhlmann, Bernd Begemann, Alfred Holighaus und Andreas Dresen freuen.

Welcome to Prittwitz. The celebrated Afro-German author Sebastian Klein (Jerry Hoffmann) is on a reading tour in the East German countryside and is greeted by the local neo-Nazis in a befitting manner: with a blow to the head. Sebastian promptly loses his memory and parrots everything he is told. Nina (Liv Lisa Fries), Sebastian's heavily pregnant girlfriend in Berlin, is in a state of great excitement. Without further ado, she drives to Prittwitz and sits on her boyfriend's heels together with the village policeman Sascha (Oliver Bröcker). He is in the hands of the right-wing comrades and their leader Sven (Benno Fürmann) and feels right at home. Smirking, he tours the talk shows and thrashes out the slogans that Sven whispers to him. A 'black man' who rails against integration - the public is ecstatic. And Sven finally sees himself on his way to becoming an opinion leader. But he can't score points with his beloved, the Nazi bride Doreen (Anna Brüggemann). She wants to see action. Historical deeds. And so Sven prepares his people for the big showdown, while in the Office for the Protection of the Constitution the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing, and neither of them can get on the Internet. What can save the world now? And what is the love of Nina and Sebastian?
'Heil' is a screamingly funny romantic comedy and bitter social satire in which everyone is pulled through the cracks. The old right-wing radical thugs and the new, harmless 'Nipsters'. The liberal intellectuals with their prohibitions on thinking. The 'Antifa' with its black-and-white enemy images. The Office for the Protection of the Constitution with its grotesque bureaucratic jumble. The cultural industry with its pretentious art blah-blah. And last but not least, the media public, which is addicted to excitement and creates its own reality. Fast-paced and frenzied at the same time, 'Heil' is a shrill farce about the state of the nation, for which nothing is sacred. This film finally had to be made! After his multi-award-winning films 'Neun Szenen' (2006), 'Renn, wenn Du kann' (2010), '3 Zimmer / Küche / Bad' (2012) and 'Kreuzweg' (2014), 'Heil' (2015) is the fifth feature film by Dietrich Brüggemann. For the leading and supporting roles, he was able to win over German acting stars such as Benno Fürmann, Jacob Matschenz, Liv Lisa Fries, Hanns Zischler and Michael Gwisdek.
