'Life without Zoe - Leben ohne Zoe': In diesem modernen Märchen von Francis Ford Coppola wohnt die kleine Zoe (Heather McComb) ohne ihre Eltern in einem New Yorker Hotel. Vater Claudio (Giancarlo Giannini) ist ein weltberühmter Flötist, der ständig auf Europa-Tournee ist, Mutter Charlotte (Talia Shire) bereist mit Vorliebe Indien und schreibt Bücher darüber. Mit Hilfe des Ohrrings einer Prinzessin, den sie zufällig gefunden hat, versucht Zoe ihre Eltern wieder zusammenzubringen.
'Oedipus Wrecks - Ödipus ratlos': Der Großstadtneurotiker Sheldon Mills (Woody Allen) erzählt seinem Psychiater (Marvin Chatinover) von seinem Mutterkomplex und dass er manchmal träume, die Dame sei tot. Die Ängste scheinen nicht unbegründet, denn als er gemeinsam mit seiner Mutter (Mae Questel) und seiner Verlobten (Mia Farrow) eine Zaubershow besucht, verschwindet die ältere Dame auf Nimmerwiedersehen. - Bis sie eines Tages vom Himmel über New York aus wildfremden Leuten intime Details aus Sheldons Leben erzählt.

'Life without Zoe': In this modern fairy tale by Francis Ford Coppola, little Zoe (Heather McComb) lives in a New York hotel without her parents. Father Claudio (Giancarlo Giannini) is a world-famous flutist who is constantly on tour in Europe, mother Charlotte (Talia Shire) loves to travel to India and writes books about it.
