In his debut film 'Mutt' (2023), Vuk Lungulov-Klotz portrays 24 hours in the life of a young trans man in an authentic and rousing way.Lio Mehiel, himself non-binary and with roots in Puerto Rico and Greece, embodies Feña's multi-layered in-between in a multifaceted and expressive way and was awarded the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival for this performance. Hardly any film before 'Mutt' has shown the complexity of everyday life as a trans person so truthfully.
