Als kleiner Junge erbeutete Alan ein magisches Relikt, mit dem er dunkle Mächte beschwören kann. Viele Jahre später ist Alan Cade (Louis Herthum) selbst ein verheirateter Mann, das Monster hat er seither nicht mehr eingesetzt. Als aber eine Gruppe rücksichtsloser Jugendlicher, die gerade auf einem Ausflug sind, seine Frau überfährt und gedankenlos Fahrerflucht begeht, ist es wieder soweit: Alan will Rache nehmen für den Tod seiner Frau und setzt das Monster auf die Clique an - diese hat es nur auf Sex und Spaß abgesehen und bemerkt die Gefahr erst, als es schon zu spät ist. Während die Gruppe bereits dezimiert wird, erhält sie unerwartete Hilfe von dem mysteriösen Nick (DMX), aus dessen Vaters Obhut Alan einst das Voodoo-Relikt gestohlen hat. Er weiß um die Gefahr und hat sich bereits schwer bewaffnet für den Kampf gegen das Übernatürliche. Auch Alan bereut seine Entscheidung, doch kann sie nicht mehr rückgängig machen, das Monster steht nicht unter seiner Kontrolle. Der Witwer fährt der Gruppe hinterher um ihr beizustehen.

As a young boy, Alan captured a magical relic that he can use to summon dark forces. With the help of the spirit of revenge that is conjured up, he gets rid of his violent father.
