HandlungIn the Name of the Son

Elisabeth (Astrid Whettnall) hat einen liebenden Mann, zwei vielversprechende Söhne und eine Radio-Talkshow namens 'Das lebende Wort', in der sie ihre Zuhörer mit viel Einfühlungsvermögen in Glaubensfragen berät. Dann allerdings beginnen die göttlichen Proben im Minutentakt auf die entsetzte Katholikin hinunterzufahren. Als Erstes bläst sich ihr Mann bei der Ausbildung der gläubig-militanten Wehrsportgruppe 'Soldaten von Pius XII' aus Blödheit den Schädel weg. Dann führt der befreundete Bruder Achille (Achille Ridolfi) ihren gerade zum Jüngling reifenden Sohn äußerst anschaulich an die Botschaft von Liebe und Frieden heran. Als die Kirche auch nach erschöpfender Beweislage partout nichts von Päderastie wissen will und Elisabeth dazu brutal beleidigt, ist das Maß voll. Sie begibt sich auf einen blutigen Rachefeldzug gegen all jene, die im Namen des Herrn Schindluder treiben. Da hilft kein Beten mehr...

Elisabeth (Astrid Whettnall) has a loving husband, two promising sons and a radio talk show called 'The Living Word', in which she advises her listeners on matters of faith with a lot of empathy. Then, however, the divine rehearsals begin to descend on the horrified Catholic woman every minute. First of all, her husband blows his skull off out of stupidity during the training of the faithful-militant military sports group 'Soldiers of Pius XII'. Then the friend brother Achille (Achille Ridolfi) introduces her son, who is just maturing into a young man, to the message of love and peace in an extremely vivid way. When the church, even after exhaustive evidence, absolutely does not want to know anything about pederasty and brutally insults Elizabeth, the measure is full. She embarks on a bloody campaign of revenge against all those who play fast and loose in the name of Mr. Josef. Praying doesn't help anymore...

Kleiner, böser Film, bei dem die katholische kirche ordentlich ihr Fett weg kriegt. Haufenweise schwarzer Humor und Gewaltorgien spannend in Szene gesetzt und recht überzeugend dargestellt. Empfehlenswert!
