Die ehemalige FBI-Agentin Sarah Moss (Brit Marling) startet eine steile Karriere bei 'Hiller Brood', einer erfolgreichen privaten Sicherheitsfirma, zu deren Klienten vor allem hochrangige Unternehmen und Persönlichkeiten aus Wirtschaft und Politik zählen. Brit Marling ('Sound of My Voice', 'Another Earth') brilliert hier erneut in einer Doppelrolle als Co-Drehbuchautorin und Hauptdarstellerin und liefert gemeinsam mit Regisseur Zal Batmanglij ('Sound of My Voice' 2011), der ebenfalls für das Drehbuch verantwortlich zeichnet, einen Film, der zeitgemäßer nicht sein könnte und erneut ihr Gespür für die Themen ihrer Generation unterstreicht. Former FBI agent Sarah Moss (Brit Marling) starts a stellar career at 'Hiller Brood', a successful private security company whose clients mainly include high-ranking companies and personalities from business and politics. She is chosen by her boss Sharon (Patricia Clarkson) for a dangerous mission and is supposed to infiltrate the anarchist association 'The East' undercover.
