Der Teufel vom Mühlenberg

According to a legend from the Harz Mountains, at some point in the Middle Ages, a brutal, greedy millman, together with the bailiff and the village mayor, set fire to a forest mill to which the farmers brought their grain. From now on, they will only grind in his mill and he dictates the conditions. Anne (Eva Kotthaus), who works at the Mühlenhof, gets on the trail of the crime. Together with the courageous Jörg (Hans-Peter Minetti), she decides to secretly rebuild the burned-down mill. She is supported by the charcoal burners, the good spirits of the forest and the farmers of the village. But will the project succeed? A folk tale from the dark forests of the Harz Mountains forms the basis for this fairy tale film.
