Die ist im Internet falsch abgebogen und leugnet nun die Klimakrise. Auf ihrem absurden Roadtrip zur Conspiracy-Convention in Bielefeld geraten Kleinkünstler und Beuteltier ins Visier von Verschwörungs-Guru Adam Krieger (Benno Fürmann) und seinen fanatischen Anhängern. Blöderweise können die beiden es einfach nicht lassen, zur falschen Zeit das Richtige zu sagen. Und plötzlich geht es nicht mehr nur um ihre Wohnung, sondern um Leben und Tod. Werden sie es trotzdem schaffen? Sehr wahrscheinlich. Ist ja 'ne Komödie...
Noch witziger, noch spannender, noch politischer und 25 Prozent mehr Känguru zum selben Preis: Nach 'Die Känguru-Chroniken' (2020) springt das Känguru im August 2022 wieder auf die große Leinwand und ins Heimkino. Die Dreharbeiten von 'Die Känguru-Verschwörung' haben begonnen und Marc-Uwe Kling führt diesmal selbst Regie. Dazu das Känguru: "Ich mach trotzdem mit." Das Drehbuch von 'Die Känguru-Verschwörung' stammt aus der gemeinsamen Feder von Kling und Jan Cronauer. Vor der Kamera von Markus Nestroy ('Freud') spielen im Szenenbild von Tim Pannen ('Die Känguru-Chroniken', 'Paula') Dimitrij Schaad als Marc-Uwe, in der weiblichen Hauptrolle Rosalie Thomass als Maria und natürlich das Känguru (Voice Coach: Marc-Uwe Kling, Stuntman: Volker Zack), sowie Petra Kleinert als Lisbeth Schlabotnik, Michael Ostrowski als Joe, Benno Fürmann als Adam Krieger, Melanie Straub als Tina und Volker Zack als Heinz. Wieder mit dabei sind außerdem Tim Seyfi und Adnan Maral als die Späti-Chefs Otto-Von und Friedrich-Wilhelm Yilmaz und last but not least Carmen-Maja Antoni als Herta - die unverwüstlichste aller Kneipenwirtinnen. 'Die Känguru-Verschwörung' ist eine Produktion von 'X Filme Creative Pool', Uwe Schott und Stefan Arndt in Koproduktion mit 'TRIXTER' München, Christian Sommer, in Zusammenarbeit mit 'SKY Deutschland' und 'Seven Pictures', Stefan Gärtner, hergestellt mit der Unterstützung des Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, dem FilmFernsehFonds Bayern, der Filmförderungsanstalt, der Mitteldeutschen Medienförderung sowie dem Deutschen FilmFörderFonds. Gedreht wurde bis Ende Juni in Berlin, Brandenburg und Bitterfeld. 'X Verleih' brachte 'Die Känguru-Verschwörung' im Herbst 2022 in die deutschen Kinos.

On their absurd road trip to the Conspiracy Convention in Bielefeld, cabaret artist and marsupial are targeted by conspiracy guru Adam Krieger (Benno Fürmann) and his fanatical followers. Even funnier, even more exciting, even more political and 25 percent more kangaroo for the same price: After 'The Kangaroo Chronicles' (2020), the kangaroo will jump back onto the big screen and home cinema in August 2022. The filming of 'The Kangaroo Conspiracy' has begun and Marc-Uwe Kling is directing himself this time. The kangaroo says: "I'll take part anyway." The screenplay of 'The Kangaroo Conspiracy' was written jointly by Kling and Jan Cronauer. In front of Markus Nestroy's ('Freud') camera, Tim Pannen ('The Kangaroo Chronicles', 'Paula') stars Dimitrij Schaad as Marc-Uwe, Rosalie Thomass as Maria and of course the kangaroo (Voice Coach: Marc-Uwe Kling, stuntman: Volker Zack), as well as Petra Kleinert as Lisbeth Schlabotnik, Michael Ostrowski as Joe, Benno Fürmann as Adam Krieger, Melanie Straub as Tina and Volker Zack as Heinz.
