Gleichzeitig werden der Mensch Adolf Hitler und sein Privatleben mit Eva Braun näher betrachtet. Der Film wurde aus seltenem dokumentarischen Bildmaterial verschiedener nationaler und internationaler Wochenschauen sowie Privataufnahmen aus Hitlers engster Umgebung zusammengestellt. So entstand ein einzigartiges und authentisches Dokument der Zeitgeschichte.
