In the fall of 2001, the young Briton Asif (Arfan Usman) travels from Great Britain to Faisalabad in Afghanistan to meet his wife. Three friends of his - Ruhel (Farhad Harun), Shafiq (Rizwan Ahmed) and Monir (Waqar Siddiqui) - travel to Afghanistan and are persuaded by the imam in the mosque to provide humanitarian aid in Afghanistan. When they arrive, the Americans begin their bombing of the country. When they try to return to Pakistan, they get even deeper into the combat zone, where they are arrested by the Americans. They are mistaken for al-Qaeda terrorists and transported to Guantanamo. Inhumane interrogations and brutal solitary confinement begin there.
