Der Fernsehfilm 'Der Untergang der Lusitania - Tragödie eines Luxusliners' (2007) zeigt die letzte Fahrt des Luxusliners und seine Versenkung als historisches Dokudrama in Spielfilmqualität aus drei Perspektiven: aus Sicht der Menschen auf der Lusitania, aus Sicht der Besatzung des deutschen U-Boots und aus Sicht der britischen Admiralität, die alles andere als unbeteiligt war. The TV film 'The Sinking of the Lusitania - Tragedy of a Luxury Liner' (2007) shows the last voyage of the luxury liner and its sinking as a historical docudrama in feature film quality from three perspectives: from the point of view of the people on the Lusitania, from the point of view of the crew of the German submarine and from the point of view of the British Admiralty, which was anything but uninvolved. The calculation of the military and the fates of those affected are in the foreground. The dramatized documentary by Christopher Spencer is as gripping and realistic as James Cameron's film adaptation of the sinking of the 'Titanic' and has a prominent cast with Hollywood star John Hannah ('The Mummy', 'Four Weddings and a Funeral') and German actor Florian Panzner ('Luther', 'Valkyrie') in the leading roles.
