'Britt-Marie war hier' (2019) ist sozusagen die weibliche Antwort auf 'Ein Mann namens Ove' (2015). Rund 500.000 Kinozuschauer begeisterte die Verfilmung des Bestsellerromans des schwedischen Autors Fredrik Backman 2016 in Deutschland. Mit feinsinnigem Humor erzählt die Regisseurin Tuva Novotny, die hierzulande vor allem als Schauspielerin für ihre Rollen in Filmen wie 'Eat Pray Love' oder 'Borg/McEnroe' bekannt wurde, in 'Britt-Marie war hier' davon, dass es nie zu spät ist für die Suche nach dem Lebensglück und der eigenen Identität. In der Hauptrolle des Films glänzt die schwedische Schauspielerin Pernilla August (aus 'Swoon'), die einst von Ingmar Bergman für den Film entdeckt wurde. 'Britt-Marie var här', so der schwedische Originaltitel, ist eine warmherzige Komödie über alten Ballast und neue Perspektiven. Der Film startet am 13. Juni 2019 im Verleih von 'Prokino' in den deutschen Kinos.

'Britt-Marie was here' (2019) is, so to speak, the female answer to 'A Man Called Ove' (2015). Around 500,000 cinema viewers were thrilled by the film adaptation of the bestselling novel by Swedish author Fredrik Backman in Germany in 2016. With subtle humour, director Tuva Novotny, who is best known in this country as an actress for her roles in films such as 'Eat Pray Love' or 'Borg/McEnroe', tells in 'Britt-Marie was here' that it is never too late to search for happiness in life and one's own identity. The film stars in the leading role of Swedish actress Pernilla August (from 'Swoon'), who was once discovered by Ingmar Bergman for the film. 'Britt-Marie var här', the original Swedish title, is a warm-hearted comedy about old ballast and new perspectives. The film will be released on June 13, 2019 in German cinemas by 'Prokino'.
