Eine stabile Beziehung, ein neues Haus im ruhigen Vorort, gute Jobs mit flexiblen Arbeitszeiten: Göran (Gustaf Skarsgård) und Sven Skoogh (Torkel Petersson) haben alles, nur kein Kind. Aber bei diesen Voraussetzungen ist ihr Adoptionsantrag schnell durch und bald ist Patrik (1,5 Jahre alt) auf dem Weg. Dem vollkommenen Glück des schwulen Paares steht nichts mehr im Wege - bis auf einen kleinen Schreibfehler der Adoptionsbehörde. Und so wird ihnen am entscheidenden Tag kein Baby überbracht, sondern es steht ein kleinkrimineller, schwer erziehbarer, äußerst homophober Teenager vor der Tür: Patrik 15 (Tom Ljungman)...
Voller Warmherzigkeit und mit entlarvendem Witz erzählt Ella Lemhagen (siehe zuvor 'Tsatsiki - Tintenfisch und erste Küsse') in ihrer Komödie 'Patrik 1,5' (2008) von einem bürgerlichen Homo-Paar, dessen brave Fassade von einem asozialen Jugendlichen über den Haufen geworfen wird. Am Ende rauft sich die Patchwork-Familie natürlich zusammen, weil sich Außenseiter eben verbünden müssen, um in der Welt der Spießer ihre Würde zu behalten. Dafür gab es zurecht den Hauptpreis des Verzaubert-Filmfestivals und den Publikumspreis beim 'San Francisco International Lesbian and Gay Filmfestival'.

Nothing stands in the way of the complete happiness of the gay couple - except for a small spelling error by the adoption authorities. And so, on the decisive day, they are not given a baby, but a petty criminal, difficult to raise, extremely homophobic teenager is at the door: Patrik 15 (Tom Ljungman)...
Full of warm-heartedness and with revealing wit, Ella Lemhagen (see previously 'Tsatsiki - Squid and First Kisses') tells the story of a middle-class gay couple in her comedy 'Patrik 1,5' (2008), whose well-behaved façade is thrown overboard by an antisocial teenager. In the end, of course, the patchwork family pulls itself together, because outsiders have to join forces in order to retain their dignity in the world of the philistines. For this, it rightly won the main prize of the Enchanted Film Festival and the Audience Award at the 'San Francisco International Lesbian and Gay Film Festival'.
