Maya (Jennifer Lopez) ist Anfang 40 und ziemlich frustriert. Prompt erhält sie eine Einladung zu einem Vorstellungsgespräch nach 'Manhattan' und ehe sie sich versieht, findet sie sich als Marketing-Beraterin mit eigenem Büro bei einem Kosmetikkonzern wieder.
