Allerdings läuft das Visum des Franzosen bald aus. Eine Scheinehe mit der lesbischen Freundin Sarah (Jane Elliott) soll den Weg ebnen für das gemeinsame Glück der Jungs. Während der Bruder in April nur das arme, hilfsbedürftige Schwesterchen sieht und sich nach Strich und Faden um den Finger wickeln lässt, entdeckt Marcel schnell die wenig verschleierte Systematik, mit der die Ex-Prostituierte zwischen den Männern Zwietracht zu säen versucht. Und so beginnt das häusliche Idyll allmählich zu bröckeln. Die Konflikte verselbstständigen sich, Besitzgier, Eifersucht und Hass dominieren alsbald den Alltag. Wie weit werden die Beteiligten gehen?

In the beginning there was love: When Marcel (Justin Tensen) meets Kyle (Simon Miller) in New York, it is clear to both of them that their immediately strong feelings mean great things. However, the Frenchman's visa will expire soon. A sham marriage with the lesbian girlfriend Sarah (Jane Elliott) is supposed to pave the way for the boys' shared happiness. At first, everything is going according to plan. They furnish their homes, revel in harmony and are convinced that they are meant for each other. Nothing and no one could ever separate them. But no: Kyle's sister April suddenly emerges from obscurity and settles in with the couple to get their own lives back under control. While the brother in April only sees the poor, needy little sister and lets himself be wrapped around his finger like a thread, Marcel quickly discovers the thinly veiled system with which the ex-prostitute tries to sow discord between the men. And so the domestic idyll gradually begins to crumble. The conflicts take on a life of their own, possessiveness, jealousy and hatred soon dominate everyday life. How far will those involved go?
