Landhaus der toten Seelen

The married couple Marian (Karen Black) and Ben Rolf (Oliver Reed), together with their son and Aunt Elizabeth (Bette Davis), move into the country house of the rather strange couple Arnold (Burgess Meredith) and Roz Allardyce (Eileen Heckart) for the summer. The house is quite cheap, the only condition is to take care of old Mrs. Allardyce in the attic room of the house, but you never get to see her. But soon the idyll turns into a nightmare. Ben dreams of a nightmarish chauffeur (Anthony James), the mood among the Rolfs becomes tense, Aunt Elizabeth dies suddenly and then the son almost drowns in the swimming pool. When the family wants to leave the house in panic, unbelievable things happen.
