'Die Rache der Wanderhure' (2012) beruht auf Motiven des Bestsellerromans 'Die Kastellanin' von Iny Lorentz. Die Verfilmung ist die Fortsetzung von 'Die Wanderhure', dem TV-Movie des Jahres 2010 mit 10 Millionen TV-Zuschauern. In der fesselnden Rolle der Marie, die im ersten Teil Opfer einer gemeinen Intrige und der Stadt verwiesen wurde, brilliert wieder Alexandra Neldel ('Verliebt in Berlin'). In 'Die Rache der Wanderhure' kämpft Marie darum, ihren tot geglaubten geliebten Ehemann zu finden und seine Liebe zurück zu gewinnen. An Neldels Seite überzeugen u.a. Nadja Becker ('Danni Lowinski'), Bert Tischendorf ('Isenhart'), Götz Otto ('Die Säulen der Erde') und Esther Schweins ('Vorstadtkrokodile 2'). Regie führte Hansjörg Thurn. Den Titelsong 'Mna Na H-Eireann' ('Women of Ireland') steuert der französische Superstar Nolwenn Leroy bei. Der Song ist auch auf ihrem aktuellen Album 'Bretonne' enthalten. Auch die bekannte Mittelalterband 'Corvus Corax' ist bei der Filmmusik vertreten und ist sogar mit einem kurzen Gastauftritt im Film zu sehen. Voller Spannung, Erotik und Intrigen bietet die Fortsetzung 'Die Rache der Wanderhure' ein packendes Filmerlebnis auf DVD und Blu-ray. Die DVD zum ersten Teil, 'Die Wanderhure', war überaus erfolgreich, die komplette 'Wanderhuren' Buchreihe verkaufte sich bisher insgesamt 3 Millionen Mal. Der Film 'Die Wanderhure' gewann beim '21. DIVA - Der Deutsche Entertainment Preis' den Publikumspreis 'Der Deutsche TV-Movie-Preis 2010'. Darüber hinaus war Alexandra Neldel als beste Schauspielerin für den Deutschen Fernsehpreis 2011 nominiert.
