In einer deutschen Kleinstadt braut sich etwas Fürchterliches zusammen. Rico Bartsch (Frederick Lau), der 15-jährige Gymnasiast und totale Außenseiter, liebt das schönste Mädchen der Schule: Regina Weyler (Alice Dwyer). Was anfangs noch eine unerfüllbare Sehnsucht scheint, wird am Ende wahr. Aber bis es soweit ist, müssen ganze Bleche von Liebesknochen verzehrt werden, Rico endlich 25 Meter tauchen und 'Die Gedanken sind frei' für das Schulfest einstudiert werden. Nachdem der Lieblingslehrer des Kafka-Gymnasiums ihm gesteht 'Bei dir sind's die Ohren, bei mir der ganze Kopf' zieht Rico die Konsequenzen. Leider sterben ein paar Bewohner des idyllischen Ortes eines unnatürlichen Todes und ein kleines Reh wird es auch nicht bis zum Ende schaffen. Ein böses Märchen. Ein Film über Verführer und Gerechte, über neue Lehrmethoden und den deutschen Wald am Rande der Kleinstadt.
Something terrible is brewing in a small German town. Rico Bartsch (Frederick Lau), the 15-year-old high school student and total outsider, loves the most beautiful girl in school: Regina Weyler (Alice Dwyer). What at first seems an unfulfillable longing becomes true in the end. But until then, whole trays of love bones have to be consumed, Rico finally has to dive 25 meters and 'The Thoughts Are Free' have to be rehearsed for the school festival. After the favourite teacher of the Kafka Gymnasium confesses to him: 'With you it's the ears, with me it's the whole head', Rico draws the consequences. Unfortunately, a few inhabitants of the idyllic place die an unnatural death and a small deer won't make it to the end either. A bad fairy tale. A film about seducers and the righteous, about new teaching methods and the German forest on the outskirts of the small town.
