Harry Brenndorfer (Michael Roll) den Mann fürs Leben gefunden hat. Doch als sich dieser für eine Woche allein auf den Reiterhof 'Mühldorf' zum Ausspannen begibt, ist sie ein wenig beunruhigt. Da hilft nur eins: Mutter Hella (Christiane Hörbiger) muss sich ebenfalls dort einquartieren, um ein Auge auf den passionierten Reiter zu haben. Doch Mutter Hella hat seit ihrer Kindheit nicht mehr auf einem Pferd gesessen und kommt in einige Schwierigkeiten bei der Observation. Schließlich muss sie feststellen, dass es erstaunlich turbulent zugeht auf dem abgelegenen Reiterhof. So wird sie unvermittelt mit einem suspekten Tod einer Reiterin konfrontiert. Ist dieser Unfall womöglich nicht nur ein tragisches Unglück sondern ein Verbrechen? Ausgerechnet der charmante Kurt Schleyer (Michael Mendl), mit dem sie gerade ihren zweiten Frühling erlebt, gerät unter Tatverdacht. Gelingt es Hella den wahren Täter zu präsentieren und ihrer Tochter Karin den Beweis zu liefern, dass Harry der Richtige für die Zukunft ist?

Harry Brenndorfer (Michael Roll) has found the man for life. But when he goes alone to the 'Mühldorf' horse farm for a week to relax, she is a little worried. There is only one thing that helps: mother Hella (Christiane Hörbiger) also has to stay there to keep an eye on the passionate rider. But mother Hella has not sat on a horse since childhood and gets into some difficulties during observation. Finally, she has to realize that things are surprisingly turbulent at the remote riding stable. So she is suddenly confronted with a suspicious death of a rider. Is this accident possibly not only a tragic accident but a crime? Of all people, the charming Kurt Schleyer (Michael Mendl), with whom she is currently experiencing her second spring, comes under suspicion. Will Hella succeed in presenting the real culprit and providing her daughter Karin with proof that Harry is the right one for the future?
