Die junge Berufspilotin Hellen Reslow (Alissa Jung) bekommt den romantischen Auftrag, einen Karton mit einem Hochzeitskleid auf die Insel 'Hardingsholm' zu liefern. Aber statt das Paket einfach aus der Luft abzuwerfen, landet sie auf der Insel und steht im Garten des Herrenhauses Lars Torberg (Tom Beck) gegenüber. Beide sind für einen Moment voneinander gefangen, und spontan lädt Lars sie zum Polterabend ein, denn er wird morgen Lynn Karlsson (Janin Reinhardt) heiraten. Zu diesem Fest ist auch Lars' Bruder Erik Torberg (Florian Weber) angereist, der zuvor mehrereJahre ein Vagabundenleben in allen Teilen der Welt geführt hatte. Am Morgen nach dem Fest gibt es für die meisten Gäste ein böses Erwachen, denn auf dem Büffet muss eine Fischspezialität verdorben gewesen sein und nicht nur ein Teil der Gäste, auch die Braut selber leiden an einer Fischvergiftung. Die Hochzeit muss verschoben werden. Aber es gibt noch ein weiteres Problem, denn die Torbergsche Holzhausfirma steht unter dem Verdacht, verbotene Holzschutzmittel zu verwenden. Lars ist ratlos, aber Hellen hat bei ihrem Flug einen neuen Bauplatz entdeckt. Macht sich hier ein Konkurrent breit und versucht Torberg mit üblen Tricks von Markt zu drängen? Hellen bietet Lars an ihm zu helfen, und beide spüren, dass sie dabei sind, sich in einander zu verlieben. Während Hellen und Lars zu diesem Platz fliegen, ahnen sie nicht, was das Wiedersehen für Erik und Lynn bedeutet.

The young professional pilot Hellen Reslow (Alissa Jung) gets the romantic assignment to deliver a box with a wedding dress to the island of 'Hardingsholm'. But instead of simply dropping the package from the air, she lands on the island and faces Lars Torberg (Tom Beck) in the garden of the mansion. Both are trapped by each other for a moment, and Lars spontaneously invites her to a bachelor party, because he will marry Lynn Karlsson (Janin Reinhardt) tomorrow. Lars' brother Erik Torberg (Florian Weber), who had previously led a vagabond life in all parts of the world for several years, has also traveled to this party. On the morning after the feast, there is a rude awakening for most of the guests, because a fish speciality must have been spoiled on the buffet and not only some of the guests, but also the bride herself suffer from fish poisoning. The wedding has to be postponed. But there is another problem, because the Torberg timber house company is suspected of using prohibited wood preservatives. Lars is at a loss, but Hellen has discovered a new construction site during her flight. Is a competitor spreading here and trying to push Torberg out of the market with nasty tricks? Hellen offers to help Lars, and they both feel that they are about to fall in love with each other. While Hellen and Lars fly to this place, they have no idea what the reunion means for Erik and Lynn.
