Die Hauptrollen in dieser überaus charmanten und amüsanten Krimikomödie spielen Hugh Jackman, Emma Thompson, Nicholas Braun, Nicholas Galitzine, Molly Gordon und Hong Chau. In der englischen Originalfassung sind außerdem Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bryan Cranston, Chris O'Dowd, Regina Hall, Patrick Stewart, Bella Ramsey, Brett Goldstein und Rhys Darby zu hören. Regie führte Kyle Balda. Das Drehbuch schrieb Craig Mazin, von dem auch die Screen-Story stammt, basierend auf dem Roman 'Glennkill: Ein Schafskrimi' von Leonie Swann. Der Film wurde produziert von Lindsay Doran, Tim Bevan und Eric Fellner. Executive-Producers waren Sarah-Jane Wright, Amelia Granger, Aditya Sood, Tyson Hesse, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller und Tim Wellspring. Die Verfilmung 'Glennkill - Ein Schafskrimi' wird präsentiert von den 'MGM Studios', 'Working Title Films' und 'Three Strange Angels' im Verleih von 'Sony Pictures Entertainment', beim Kinostart in Deutschland am 14.
