Die höchst unterhaltsame Krimiserie 'Miss Molly Mill' (1970) um die hübsche arbeitslose Raumpflegerin und ihren 'Assistenten', die Schildkröte Ulysses, wurde von Thomas Engel ('Es muss nicht immer Kaviar sein') flott inszeniert und mit einem schwungvollen, pfiffigen Soundtrack von Komponist Peter Thomas (Edgar-Wallace-Filme) untermalt.
Anmerkung des Herstellers: Leider treten bei einigen Folgen kurze Bild- und Tonaussetzer auf. Diese Stellen waren trotz größter Sorgfalt bei der Bearbeitung des erhaltenen Materials nicht mehr zu restaurieren. Auf ein komplettes Herausschneiden wurde bewusst verzichtet!

It didn't work out again! Molly Mill (Inge Brück) goes to great lengths to find a permanent job as a cleaner. Disappointed, the pretty young lady waits with her turtle Ulysses in the waiting room of the employment agency. When the friendly old lady (Erna Nitter) calls her and looks in her special file, she hopes for the longed-for job every time anew. But as the devil would have it, Molly keeps stumbling into a new criminal case involving her employers. To the annoyance of Scotland Yard and the best officers of the special department - in the person of Inspector Christopher Yellow (Benno Hoffmann) and assistant Marcus Green (Gerd Vespermann) - she also solves the criminal mystery every time and reveals even the darkest secrets. Whether kidnapped counts, coughing princes or mute singers - Molly Mill is guaranteed to solve the case - and in the end sits in the hallway of the employment agency without a job.
