Der Geistliche restauriert seit Jahren ein verfallenes, einsam gelegenes Kloster. Seine Helfer: Freiwillige aus aller Welt. Hier gibt es keinen Komfort, aber viel Raum für Meditation und Einkehr. Besinnungsurlaub ohne Licht, fließendes Wasser, Radio oder Fernsehen.
Voll Lärm und Schönheit sind die Feste Umbriens: In Foligno findet die Quintana statt, ein mittelalterliches Reiterspiel. Der Höhepunkt jedoch ist die "Inforiata" im mittelalterlichen Spello, denn hier verwandeln einmal im Jahr Blumenkünstler die Stadt in einen unvorstellbar prächtigen Blütenteppich.
