Adam Tepper (Erik Palladino) bereitet den wöchentlichen Pokerabend für seine Freunde vor. Einsatz die Lotteriescheine der Woche. Als er eine Brieftasche findet in der sich ebenfalls ein Los befindet nimmt das Schicksal seinen lauf. Aus Neugier ruft Adam die Lottozahlen ab und das Los aus der Brieftasche ist der Jackpot. Doch wie bringt er nun dass Los an seinen Kumpels Fishman (Matthew Lillard), Quigley (Ryan Reynolds) und Bolan (Dash Mihok) vorbei - und viel wichtiger: Weiß der Besitzer Avery Phillips (James Earl Jones) welche Losnummer er hat? Adam Tepper (Erik Palladino) prepares the weekly poker night for his friends. Use the lottery tickets of the week. When he finds a wallet in which there is also a ticket, fate takes its course. Out of curiosity, Adam retrieves the lottery numbers and the ticket from the wallet is the jackpot. But how does he get the ticket past his buddies Fishman (Matthew Lillard), Quigley (Ryan Reynolds) and Bolan (Dash Mihok) - and much more importantly: Does the owner Avery Phillips (James Earl Jones) know which ticket number he has? When Phillips wants to pick up his wallet, the poker game begins and he gets in. But who knows about the prize, who doesn't! Who will win the match? Greed, friendship, deceit or honesty?
