The special task force of the police storms an apartment. The supposedly routine operation becomes the team's undoing. During the attack, one of the officers is seriously injured and the perpetrator is able to flee. For the group leaders Kevin (Ronald Zehrfeld) and Mendes (Misel Maticevic), this escalation marks a new peak of the violence that they have been confronted with more and more in recent years. But danger also looms from within their own ranks. The Ministry of the Interior wants to disband several SEK units for cost reasons and the team is now under special observation. When two colleagues from Mendes' squad are shot dead in the course of the investigation and a service weapon disappears, the situation gets out of control.
