Ihr Gatte hat sich der opulenten Feier mit Verwandtschaft und Lokalpresse gekonnt durch eine Überdosis Tabletten - eigentlich für den Familienmops Berlusconi angedacht - entzogen. Eine Unverschämtheit, die Marianne nicht an die große Glocke hängen will. Und so sieht sich die Familie gezwungen, ein absurdes Schmierentheater zu veranstalten, um das Bild der anerkannten Vorzeigefamilie vor den geladenen Gästen aufrechtzuerhalten. Her husband has skilfully evaded the opulent celebration with relatives and the local press by an overdose of pills - actually intended for the family pug Berlusconi. An impertinence that Marianne does not want to hang on the big bell. And so the family is forced to put on an absurd smear show in order to maintain the image of the recognized model family in front of the invited guests. While the patriarch's body is still being manoeuvred through the house, a bitter dispute over the inheritance is already breaking out. But the will has disappeared and between greedy heirs, repressed truths and a family constellation with an eccentric shaman, dark secrets come to light...
