Stilldemenz, Dammriss und drückende Brüste - Marie (Julia Becker) ist 34 und kann die Gespräche ihrer Freundinnen echt nicht mehr hören. Obendrein ist ihr Freund Sascha (Marc Benjamin Puch) auch noch ganz heiß drauf, endlich Kinder mit ihr in die Welt zu setzen. Also werden die fruchtbaren Tage fleißig genutzt, um nochmal nackt zusammenzukommen. Aber will sie das wirklich? Also das ganze große Alles? Oder doch lieber frei und unabhängig sein? Und warum muss die verdammte biologische Uhr eigentlich so laut ticken? Als die Fragen in ihrem Kopf zu laut werden, flieht Marie mit Toyboy Lukas (Christian Natter) auf eine Tiroler Berghütte. Superwilder Sex und das ganz ohne Verpflichtungen, yeah! Auf dem Gipfel der Lust angekommen, muss Marie jedoch feststellen, dass auch Sascha sich dort ein paar vergnügliche Stunden mit seiner Affäre Birgit (Charlotte Crome) gönnt, die wiederum deutlich älter ist als er. Weil der Lift nicht mehr talwärts fährt, blüht dem Quartett nun ein unbequem-aufschlussreiches Wochenende. Ob Marie will oder nicht, jetzt geht's ans Eingemachte...
'Maybe, Baby!' ist eine blitzgescheite Independent-Komödie übers Erwachsenwerden jenseits der 30. Das gelungene Regiedebüt der Berliner Schauspielerin Julia Becker (siehe 'Hauptstadtrevier' und 'Die Hannas') zeigt viel Wahres über die Generation der Thirtysomethings, die glauben, noch unendlich viel Zeit zu haben. Allrounderin Becker hat auch das Drehbuch geschrieben und spielt on top großartig die Rolle der taffen Marie. In weiteren Rollen glänzen Marc Ben Puch ('Doctor's Diary'), Christian Natter ('Feuchtgebiete') und Charlotte Crome ('Deutschland 83').

The successful directorial debut of Berlin actress Julia Becker (see 'Hauptstadtrevier' and 'Die Hannas') shows a lot of truth about the generation of thirtysomethings who believe they still have an infinite amount of time. All-rounder Becker also wrote the screenplay and plays the role of tough Marie on top of that. Marc Ben Puch ('Doctor's Diary'), Christian Natter ('Wetlands') and Charlotte Crome ('Deutschland 83') shine in other roles.
