Seth Winnick (French Stewart) und sein Kumpel Larry Garnett (Bill Bellamy) sind sich einig: Kein Sex der Welt ist es wert, das Objekt der Begierde gleich zu heiraten. Doch mit dieser Meinung stehen sie ziemlich allein da. Auf der Hochzeit von Larry und Holly (Tyra Banks) lernt Seth die attraktive Innenarchitektin Chelsea Turner (Bridgette Wilson) kennen und lieben. Die fackelt nicht lange und zieht nach einer gründlichen Renovierung direkt bei Seth ein. Bleibt nur ein Problem für Chelsea: Seth macht ihr partout keinen Heiratsantrag und das hat schwere Konsequenzen für ihn. Für mittlerweile zwei verschwendete Jahre sinnt Chelsea auf Rache, und zunächst deutet alles darauf hin, dass sie diese auch bekommt.

Seth Winnick (French Stewart) and his buddy Larry Garnett (Bill Bellamy) agree: No sex in the world is worth marrying the object of desire right away. But they are pretty much alone in this opinion. At the wedding of Larry and Holly (Tyra Banks), Seth meets and falls in love with the attractive interior designer Chelsea Turner (Bridgette Wilson). She doesn't hesitate for long and moves in directly with Seth after a thorough renovation. There is only one problem for Chelsea: Seth does not propose to her at all and that has serious consequences for him. For two wasted years, Chelsea is out for revenge, and at first everything indicates that she will get it.
