Vinzent (Detlef Bothe) ist am Rande seiner Nerven, gefangen in den kafkaesque Kreisen. Er stolpert durch ein Labyrinth von verzerrten Treppenhäuser und deren unheimlichen Bewohnern und versucht, heraus zu finden woher die Schreie seiner Freundin genau kommen. Eingeschlossen in einer finsteren Wohnanlage, wandert er durch seine dunklen Gedanken und durch eine merkwürdige Welt, in der er absolut keine Kontrolle hat. Er kann sich nicht einmal selbst identifizieren und schaut in ein dunkles Loch, nur Fragmente, von ihm selbst, von den Charakteren und kann ihrer Zusammenhänge nicht erklären. In dieser Welt hallen Gedanken und Erinnerungen so laut wie Stimmen und Schreie wider. Und während Vinzent das Gebäude durchstreift, hat er da Gefühl, dass er nicht allein ist. Es gibt immer mehr als zwei Augen, die eine Szene beobachtend, die Augen in einem Schlüsselloch, eine Kamera, die der bedrohlichen Statuen. Wir sehen die Welt von diesen anderen Perspektiven an, während sie langsam ein Abbild des Wohnblockes wider gibt. Vinzents Suche nach seiner Freundin ist wie einer jener Alpträume, in denen man nach etwas sucht, aber durch verwirrende Wendungen und Drehungen vergisst wo die Suche begann...

Vinzent (Detlef Bothe) is on the edge of his nerves, trapped in the Kafkaesque circles. He stumbles through a labyrinth of distorted stairwells and their sinister inhabitants and tries to find out exactly where his girlfriend's screams come from. Locked in a sinister residential complex, he wanders through his dark thoughts and through a strange world in which he has absolutely no control. He can't even identify himself and looks into a dark hole, only fragments of himself, of the characters and can't explain their connections. In this world, thoughts and memories echo as loudly as voices and screams. And while Vinzent roams the building, he has the feeling that he is not alone. There are always more than two eyes observing a scene, the eyes in a keyhole, a camera that of menacing statues. We look at the world from these other perspectives as it slowly reflects an image of the apartment block. Vinzent's search for his girlfriend is like one of those nightmares in which you are looking for something, but through confusing twists and turns you forget where the search began...
