D*e S*t d*r C*s

In the year 2072, there are only two television stations left that compete against each other with ever more extreme shows. In the Roman CoIosseum, they try to resurrect the GIadiator fights. The fight is fought with all weapons, until the death. Serious criminals who have nothing to lose compete against each other. If you win, freedom beckons. In order to get a star into the arena, the show makers concoct an intrigue: They murder the wife of Drake (Jared Martin), a celebrity at the pub, and bend the matter so that it looks as if Drake is the murderer. Drake is announced as the star of the first gladiator show. Until then, he is trained with the other criminals, but he resists the system and organizes an escape that fails. So it happens that Drake is in the middle of his death throes in front of millions of viewers.
