Der schüchterne Pinguin Hubi hat sich in die Pinguindame Marina verliebt und sucht nach einem besonders schönen Kieselstein als Verlobungsgeschenk. Doch auch der böse Pinguin Drake hat ein Auge auf Marina geworfen und hetzt Hubi einen riesigen Seeleoparden auf den Hals. Hubi kann entkommen, wird aber weit vom Südpol abgetrieben. So beginnt für Hubi eine abenteuerliche Reise um die Welt, bis er mit Hilfe des Felsenpinguins Rocko in seine Heimat zurückkehren kann...

The shy penguin Hubi has fallen in love with the penguin lady Marina and is looking for a particularly beautiful pebble as an engagement gift. But the evil penguin Drake also has his eye on Marina and sets a huge leopard seal on Hubi's neck. Hubi manages to escape, but is drifted far away from the South Pole. So begins an adventurous journey around the world for Hubi until he can return to his homeland with the help of the rockhopper penguin Rocko...
