Als vor der Küste Floridas ein russisches Atom-U-Boot sinkt, macht sich ein Rettungsteam auf, dieses zu bergen. Dabei kommt es zu einem Austritt von Radioaktivität, weshalb sich der verschwundene Kontinent Atlantis wieder aus dem Ozean erhebt. Die Haudegen Wash (Tony King) und Mike (Christopher Connelly) retten einige der Wissenschaftler aus dem Meer und bringen sie auf eine Insel. Doch damit beginnt das Abenteuer erst, denn dort wütet der geheimnisvolle Crystal Skull (Bruce Baron) mit seiner Bande. Die mordenden Punks stehen unter dem Einfluss der 'Wächter von Atlantis' und wollen um jeden Preis die Welt zurückerobern. Es beginnt ein gnadenloser Kampf ums Überleben...

When a Russian nuclear submarine sinks off the coast of Florida, a rescue team sets out to recover it. This results in a leak of radioactivity, which is why the vanished continent of Atlantis rises again from the ocean. The warhorses Wash (Tony King) and Mike (Christopher Connelly) rescue some of the scientists from the sea and bring them to an island. But that's just the beginning of the adventure, because that's where the mysterious Crystal Skull (Bruce Baron) rages with his gang. The murderous punks are under the influence of the 'Guardians of Atlantis' and want to take back the world at any cost. A merciless fight for survival begins...
