Der selbsternannte Held von Kosmos, Ijon Tichy (Oliver Jahn), hat in seiner Drei-Zimmer-Rakete bisher jedes Weltraum-Abenteuer bestanden. Doch diesmal macht dem erfindungsreichen Dickkopf nicht nur die Widerspenstigkeit seiner holografischen Assistentin 'Analoge Halluzinelle' (Nora Tschirner) zu schaffen, sondern er muss sich einem existenziellen Problem stellen: Der leidenschaftliche Omelette-Esser hat nur noch ein letztes, vergammeltes Ei im Kühlschrank. Als er es trotzdem köpft, stürzt er sich und das Universum mitten in die Katastrophe: Aus dem Ei entweicht ein fressendes, schwarzes Loch, das beginnt den ganzen Kosmos zu vernichten...

The self-proclaimed hero of Kosmos, Ijon Tichy (Oliver Jahn), has passed every space adventure in his three-room rocket so far. But this time, the inventive stubborn man is not only troubled by the unruliness of his holographic assistant 'Analog Hallucinelle' (Nora Tschirner), but he also has to face an existential problem: The passionate omelette eater has only one last, rotten egg left in the fridge. When he decapitates it anyway, he plunges himself and the universe into the middle of the catastrophe: a devouring, black hole escapes from the egg, which begins to destroy the entire cosmos...
In 8 episodes of 24 minutes each, Ijon Tichy has to save the entire cosmos and of course his ego several times with the active support of the 'Analogue Hallucinelle' Mel and Professor Tarantoga. In doing so, they survive a lot of absurd adventures on alien planets, whose inhabitants are in no way inferior to Ijon Tichy in terms of stubbornness.
