Der zehnjährige Rohan (Rahul) und sein Vater Ravi Naik (Sunil Shetty) müssen ganz allein zurechtkommen. Deshalb ist es auch nicht immer so einfach für die beiden. Ravi ist sehr ehrgeizig und möchte, dass sein Sohn der Beste ist. Dies soll er ihm bei einem Rennen beweisen. Auch Rohan möchte seinen Vater nicht enttäuschen. Doch er leidet sehr unter diesem Druck. Nur bei der Witwe Antara (Neha) fühlt er sich geborgen und kann über seine Ängste sprechen. Antara steht auf der Seite des Jungen und deshalb kommt es zum Streit zwischen ihr und Ravi. Dabei ist er doch ihre heimliche große Liebe! Der Tag des Rennens kommt immer näher, als ein Unfall jede Chance auf eine Teilnahme Rohans zerstört. Ist das Verhältnis zu Ravi nun für immer zerbrochen oder kann Antara endlich Frieden zwischen den beiden stiften?
