Jeanne (Jana McKinnon) lebt in der Kommune auf dem Bauernhof, seit sie zwei Jahre alt ist. Ihre Mutter und ihr Vater wohnen in Stadtkommunen und kommen nur selten zu Besuch. Dies ist eines der Gesetze, das Otto (Clemens Schick), der Herrscher der Kommune, so bestimmt: Kinder wachsen ohne Eltern auf. Die 14-jährige Jeanne kennt keine andere Welt, sie genießt ihr Leben in der Umgebung vieler anderer Kinder in der freien Natur. Bis sie sich in den 16-jährigen Jean (Leo Altaras) verliebt und ihr Kindheitsparadies Risse bekommt. Denn jetzt verstößt sie gegen Ottos oberstes Gesetz: 'Sex ist erlaubt, aber Liebe verboten'. Otto verbannt Jean in die Stadtkommune. Und dann ist da noch Ottos unausgesprochenes Privileg: Er kommt nachts in Jeannes Zimmer und berührt sie. Jeanne aber rebelliert. Und dann rebellieren auch die anderen Kinder - gegen die Erwachsenen und gegen die autoritäre Herrschaft Ottos...
'Servus Papa, See You in Hell' (2022) von Regisseur Christopher Roth basiert auf den Erinnerungen von Jeanne Tremsal. Sie ist in der Mühl-Kommune aufgewachsen, in der bis zur Verhaftung des Gründers neue Lebensformen ausprobiert wurden. Jeanne wird im Film verkörpert von Jana McKinnon (u.a. aus 'Bad Behaviour', dem 'Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo' Remake und 'Dunkelstadt'), an ihrer Seite spielen Clemens Schick ('Kidnapping Stella', '4 Könige') als Otto und Leo Altaras ('Titos Brille') als Jean. Tremsal selbst spielt ihre eigene Mutter. Die Dreharbeiten fanden während des Lockdowns in der Nähe von Kassel auf einer Fulda-Insel statt. Dort blieb das Filmteam für einige Wochen unter sich. 'Servus Papa, See You in Hell' ist eine Produktion von 'Arden Film' in Co-Produktion mit dem Hessischen Rundfunk, in Zusammenarbeit mit 'ARTE' und gefördert von 'HessenFilm und Medien', der Beauftragten der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien 'BKM' sowie dem Deutschen Filmförderfonds 'DFFF'. Die Deutschlandpremiere fand im Rahmen des Münchner Filmfests 2022 statt. 'Port au Prince Pictures' brachte 'Servus Papa, See You in Hell' am 24. November 2022 auch bundesweit in die Kinos.

Jeanne (Jana McKinnon) has been living in the commune on the farm since she was two years old. Her mother and father live in city communes and rarely come to visit. This is one of the laws that Otto (Clemens Schick), the ruler of the commune, determines as follows: Children grow up without parents. 14-year-old Jeanne knows no other world, she enjoys her life in the environment of many other children in the great outdoors. Until she falls in love with 16-year-old Jean (Leo Altaras) and her childhood paradise begins to crack. Because now she violates Otto's highest law: 'Sex is allowed, but love is forbidden'. Otto banishes Jean to the city commune. And then there is Otto's unspoken privilege: he comes into Jeanne's room at night and touches her. Jeanne, however, rebels. And then the other children also rebel - against the adults and against Otto's authoritarian rule...
'Servus Papa, See You in Hell' (2022) by director Christopher Roth is based on the memoirs of Jeanne Tremsal. She grew up in the Mühl commune, where new ways of life were tried out until the founder's arrest. Jeanne is embodied in the film by Jana McKinnon (from 'Bad Behaviour', the 'Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo' remake and 'Dunkelstadt', among others), at her side Clemens Schick ('Kidnapping Stella', '4 Kings') as Otto and Leo Altaras ('Tito's Glasses') as Jean. Tremsal herself plays her own mother. Filming took place near Kassel on a Fulda island during the lockdown. There the film team stayed among themselves for a few weeks. 'Servus Papa, See You in Hell' is a production of 'Arden Film' in co-production with Hessischer Rundfunk, in cooperation with 'ARTE' and funded by 'HessenFilm und Medien', the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media 'BKM' and the German Film Fund 'DFFF'. The German premiere took place as part of the Munich Film Festival 2022. 'Port au Prince Pictures' also brought 'Servus Papa, See You in Hell' to cinemas nationwide on November 24, 2022.
