Theaterspaß an der 'Schule der magischen Tiere'! Die Schüler wollen zum Schuljubiläum ein Musical aufführen. Enden die Proben im Chaos oder zieht die Klasse an einem Strang? Und was hat es mit den seltsamen Löchern auf dem Schulgelände auf sich? Auf der Wintersteinschule stehen die Feierlichkeiten zum 250. Schuljubiläum an. Dafür soll die Klasse von Miss Cornfield (Nadja Uhl) ein Musical über den Schulgründer einstudieren. Für Regisseurin Ida (Emilia Maier) wird schon das Casting eine Herausforderung, weil Oberzicke Helene (Emilia Pieske) einfach die Hauptrolle an sich reißt. Dabei ist das wahre Gesangstalent die schüchterne Anna-Lena (Lilith Johna), die sich niemals trauen würde, ins Rampenlicht zu treten! Stattdessen tut sie alles, um ihre Freundschaft mit Helene nicht zu gefährden. Erst durch ihr magisches Tier, Chamäleon Caspar (Stimme Rick Kavanian), kann sie über ihren Schatten springen. Ob Anna-Lena will oder nicht: Sie muss gegen Helene antreten! Auch Ida liegt mächtig mit Helene über Kreuz und das hat nicht nur mit dem Theaterstück zu tun, sondern auch mit Jo (Loris Sichrovsky), den Helene mit allen Tricks für sich zu gewinnen sucht. Jos magisches Tier, der forsche Pinguin Juri (Stimme Axel Stein), stürzt mit seiner Unterstützung das Trio komplett ins Chaos. Als schließlich das gesamte Schuljubiläum ins Wasser fallen soll, weil auch noch seltsame Löcher auf dem Schulhof auftauchen, müssen die Kinder und ihre Tiere endlich lernen, worauf es in der magischen Gemeinschaft ankommt: Teamwork...
Nach dem großen Erfolg von 'Die Schule der magischen Tiere' (2021), der mit über 1,7 Millionen Besuchern zum erfolgreichsten deutschen Kinofilm 2021/22 wurde, kommt nun mit 'Die Schule der magischen Tiere 2 - Voller Löcher!' (2022) die Fortsetzung auf die große Leinwand und anschließend ins eigene Heimkino. Das neue Kinoabenteuer wurde von Sven Unterwaldt inszeniert. In den Hauptrollen sind wieder Emilia Maier, Loris Sichrovsky und Leonard Conrads zu sehen, die Verstärkung von Lilith Johna ('Vier zauberhafte Schwestern') und Emilia Pieske erhalten. Zum prominenten Erwachsenenensemble gehören erneut Nadja Uhl ('Timm Thaler oder das verkaufte Lachen'), Milan Peschel ('Jim Knopf und Lukas der Lokomotivführer'), Justus von Dohnányi ('Das Pubertier') und Heiko Pinkowski ('Das schönste Mädchen der Welt'). Neben den aus Teil eins bekannten Synchronstimmen von Max von der Groeben ('Lindenberg! Mach dein Ding'), Katharina Thalbach ('Hanni & Nanni - Mehr als beste Freunde') und Sophie Rois ('Burg Schreckenstein'), werden die neuen magischen Tiere von Rick Kavanian ('Drachenreiter') und Axel Stein ('JGA - Jasmin. Gina. Anna.') zum Leben erweckt. Den Titelsong singt Sasha. 'Die Schule der magischen Tiere 2' wurde gefördert vom FilmFernsehFonds Bayern 'FFF', der Mitteldeutschen Medienförderung 'MDM', der Filmförderungsanstalt 'FFA', dem Medienboard, 'nordmedia' und dem Deutschen Filmförderfonds 'DFFF'.

Theatre fun at the 'School of Magical Animals'! The students want to perform a musical for the school anniversary. Will the rehearsals end in chaos or will the class pull together? And what about the strange holes on the school grounds? The celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the school are coming up at the Winterstein School. For this purpose, Miss Cornfield's (Nadja Uhl) class is to rehearse a musical about the school's founder. For director Ida (Emilia Maier), the casting is already a challenge, because Helene (Emilia Pieske) simply seizes the leading role. The real singing talent is the shy Anna-Lena (Lilith Johna), who would never dare to step into the limelight! Instead, she does everything she can to avoid jeopardizing her friendship with Helene. Only through her magical animal, chameleon Caspar (voice of Rick Kavanian), can she jump over her shadow. Whether Anna-Lena likes it or not: She has to compete against Helene! Ida is also at odds with Helene and this has not only to do with the play, but also with Jo (Loris Sichrovsky), whom Helene tries to win over with all her tricks. Jo's magical animal, the brash penguin Juri (voiced by Axel Stein), plunges the trio into complete chaos with his support. When the entire school anniversary is finally to fall through because strange holes also appear in the schoolyard, the children and their animals finally have to learn what is important in the magical community: teamwork...

(2022) the sequel to the big screen and then to their own home cinema. The new cinema adventure was directed by Sven Unterwaldt. Emilia Maier, Loris Sichrovsky and Leonard Conrads can be seen again in the leading roles, who are supported by Lilith Johna ('Four Magical Sisters') and Emilia Pieske. The prominent adult ensemble once again includes Nadja Uhl ('Timm Thaler or the Sold Laughter'), Milan Peschel ('Jim Button and Lukas the Engine Driver'), Justus von Dohnányi ('The Pubertier') and Heiko Pinkowski ('The Most Beautiful Girl in the World'). In addition to the dubbing voices of Max von der Groeben ('Lindenberg! Do your thing'), Katharina Thalbach ('Hanni & Nanni - More than best friends') and Sophie Rois ('Burg Schreckenstein'), the new magical animals of Rick Kavanian ('Drachenreiter') and Axel Stein ('JGA - Jasmin. Gina. Anna.') brought to life. The title song is sung by Sasha.
