Als der im Gefängnis von 'Amestris' inhaftierte Melvin Voyage (deutsch gesprochen von Christoph Banken) ausbricht, stellen sich ihm die beiden Brüder Edward (Klemens Fuhrmann) und Alphonse Elric (Andi Krösing) entgegen. Während des Kampfes wendet der Entflohene eine mächtige und bisher unbekannte Form der Alchemie an, um sich dem Zugriff seiner Verfolger zu entziehen. Edward und Alphonse lassen jedoch nicht locker und nehmen die Verfolgung von Melvin Voyage auf. Die Spur führt die beiden in die Stadt 'Table City', wo die beiden Brüder schnell bemerken, dass hinter dem Gefängnisausbruch mehr steckt, als anfangs angenommen. Beide geraten zwischen die Fronten von unberechenbaren Mächten und einer sich anbahnenden Revolution...

When Melvin Voyage (voiced in German by Christoph Banken), who is imprisoned in the prison of 'Amestris', escapes, the two brothers Edward (Klemens Fuhrmann) and Alphonse Elric (Andi Krösing) oppose him. During the fight, the escapee uses a powerful and previously unknown form of alchemy to evade the grasp of his pursuers. Edward and Alphonse, however, do not let up and take up the pursuit of Melvin Voyage. The trail leads the two to the town of 'Table City', where the two brothers quickly realize that there is more to the prison break than initially assumed. Both get caught between the fronts of unpredictable powers and an impending revolution...

An alle die die Serie und den 1. Film kennen: Finger weg !!!! Es sind nicht die original Synchronstimmen, der deutsche Satzbau ist furchtbar und der Zeichenstil ist auch ein völlig anderer. Mein Schatz und ich kennen sowohl die Serie und auch den 1. Film und haben die Blue Ray nach wenigen Minuten ausgemacht, so grottig fanden wir den Film. Wir schauen viel Anime, sowohl synchronisiert als auch im original mit deutschen Untertiteln und mögen Full Metal Alchemist sehr, nur dieser Schund gehört verboten. Da hat sich jemand wohl die Lizenz gekauft und gedacht: "Erfolgreicher Anime, damit kann man nachträglich noch mal ein wenig Geld scheffeln und die Fans werdens schon schlucken". Wen eine schlechte Synchro, eine furchtbare Teenie Sprache und ein gewöhnungsbedürftiger Zeichenstil nicht stört, kann gerne einen Blick riskieren.
