Das Haus am Eaton Place - Staffel 3

Life in the household of the wealthy Bellamys from 1903 to 1930. The Member of Parliament Richard Bellamy and his wife Marjorie can afford a large house and some employees thanks to their inherited wealth. But in order to maintain this and their social status, they are urgently dependent on Richard's career. The family's reputation is repeatedly endangered by the escapades of their two children James and Elizabeth. The Bellamys' domestic servants also struggle with their own problems. Hudson is the Scottish butler, who on the one hand takes on a father role for the other employees, but on the other hand also emphasizes his own position in the household very clearly. In the course of the series, current events and problems of the time often appear: people die in the First World War, jazz and the women's rights movement begin their triumphal march. Lady Marjorie dies on board the Titanic, Richard later marries the Scottish widow Virginia Hamilton.
