Der Zauberrabe Rumburak

In this spin-off feature film after the huge success of 'The Fairytale Bride' in 1984, director Václav Vorlícek finally tells what many fans wanted to know: How did the evil wizard Rumburak fare after he had to stay behind in the human world? Rumburak (Jirí Lábus), the evil wizard, has been banished from the fairy tale kingdom and has to live as a raven during the day. He is shot by the animal enemy Zachariás (Oldrich Kaiser), but then cared for by the family of the headmaster Trojan (Vlastimil Hasek). Although he falls in love with his daughter Helenka (Eva Jenickova), he steals Trojan's clothes and thus gets a job in the computer center. There Rumburak finds a great helper, the computer 'Quatschkopf'. The animal enemy Zachariás has bewitched all the animals and Mr. Trojan into the magic kingdom. Rumburak, however, becomes famous among the people and is loved by Helene. That doesn't suit Zacharias at all! This feature film tells the story of Rumburak in the typical Vorlícek style.
