Während der Dreharbeiten zu seinem mehrfach Oscar-nominierten Kino-Biopic-Spielfilm 'Elvis' (2022) fand Luhrmann das verschollen geglaubte Filmmaterial der legendären Elvis-Konzertfilme aus den 1970er Jahren. Gemeinsam mit unveröffentlichten Super-8-Filmen der Graceland-Archive wurden die Filmnegative mit modernster Technik restauriert. Das Ergebnis ist mehr als nur ein Konzertfilm in beeindruckender Bild- und Tonqualität. Luhrmann gibt Elvis selbst eine Stimme in seiner Geschichte. 'EPiC' wurde von dem renommierten australischen Filmemacher sowohl inszeniert als auch produziert. Jonathan Redmond ('Moulin Rouge', 'Der große Gatsby', 'Elvis') war erneut für den Schnitt verantwortlich. Weitere Produzenten waren Schuyler Weiss ('Elvis', 'Australia'), Jeremy Castro ('Dunkman'), Matthew Gross und Colin Smeeton ('Christmas at Graceland').

During the filming of his multiple Oscar-nominated cinema biopic feature film 'Elvis' (2022), Luhrmann found the film material of the legendary Elvis concert films from the 1970s, which was thought to be lost. Together with unreleased Super 8 films from the Graceland archives, the film negatives were restored using state-of-the-art technology. The result is more than just a concert film in impressive picture and sound quality. Luhrmann himself gives Elvis a voice in his story. 'EPiC' was both directed and produced by the renowned Australian filmmaker. Jonathan Redmond ('Moulin Rouge', 'The Great Gatsby', 'Elvis') was again responsible for the editing.
