Jackson (Thilo Gosejohann) ist Amerikaner und kämpft heldenhaft in Vietnam an vorderster Front. Seine Widersacher aus der eigenen Truppe, Zorc (Oliver Piper) und Atlas (Simon Gosejohann), verraten ihre Ideale und versuchen hinter den feindlichen Linien mit dem Gegner dubiose Waffengeschäfte abzuwickeln. Jacksons Versuch, beide unschädlich zu machen, scheitert zunächst. 20 Jahre später tauchen beide Schurken in Jacksons Heimatort auf und eröffnen scheinheilig eine Disco. Jackson, mittlerweile alleinerziehender Vater und arbeitsloser Kopfgeldjäger, misstraut den Ganoven von Anfang an. Er stürzt sich ins wilde Nachtleben, um der Sache auf den Grund zu gehen. Plötzlich kommt er einem dämonischen Komplott auf die Schliche...
Da wird geschossen und getanzt, bis die Fetzen fliegen. Das wohl abgedrehteste Stück Independentkino: 'Operation Dance Sensation', eine Liebeserklärung an das, aber auch eine Persiflage auf das Genre des patriotischen Actionfilms der 80er, liebevoll gewürzt mit den Versatzstücken des 70er-Jahre Discofilms. Diesmal ist nix mit Ausserirdischen oder irgendwelchem UFO-Firlefanz à la 'Captain Cosmotic' (1998), in 'Operation Dance Sensation' (20036) sprechen die Waffen - und zwar reichlich.

Jackson (Thilo Gosejohann) is American and fights heroically on the front line in Vietnam. His opponents from his own troops, Zorc (Oliver Piper) and Atlas (Simon Gosejohann), betray their ideals and try to conduct dubious arms deals with the enemy behind enemy lines. Jackson's attempt to render both harmless initially fails. 20 years later, both villains show up in Jackson's hometown and hypocritically open a disco. Jackson, now a single father and unemployed bounty hunter, distrusts the crooks from the beginning. He plunges into the wild nightlife to get to the bottom of the matter. Suddenly he gets to the bottom of a demonic plot...
There is shooting and dancing until the shreds fly. Probably the craziest piece of independent cinema: 'Operation Dance Sensation', a declaration of love to, but also a persiflage on the genre of the patriotic action film of the 80s, lovingly spiced with the set pieces of the 70s disco film. This time there is nothing to do with extraterrestrials or any UFO frippery à la 'Captain Cosmotic' (1998), in 'Operation Dance Sensation' (20036) the guns speak - and plenty.
