Tridan Lagache (Dany Boon) hat sein ganzes Leben im 'Club Med' verbracht und damit alle 8 Tage seine Freunde gewechselt. Im Alter von 50 Jahren verlässt er den mexikanischen Urlaubsclub, in dem er geboren wurde, um seine große Kindheitsliebe Violette zu finden - nach 42 Jahren. Naiv und verloren kommt Tridan in Paris an und freut sich, bei Louis (Kad Merad) unterzukommen, seinem Halbbruder, von dem er gar nichts wusste. Der möchte den mühsamen Tridan aber lieber wieder loswerden. So bittet Louis eine seiner Eroberungen, Roxane (Charlotte Gainsbourg), als die Violette aufzutreten, von der Tridan glaubt, dass er sie auf den ersten Blick wieder erkennen wird...
Mit 'Willkommen bei den Sch'tis' schuf Dany Boon 2008 den bislang erfolgreichsten französischen Film in Frankreich. Auch in der Komödie 'Voll ins Leben' (2023) übernahm Kad Merad ('Willkommen bei den Sch'tis', 'Ein Triumph') eine Hauptrolle. Diesmal bringt er Boons herausragenden Humor und die grandiose Situationskomik gemeinsam mit Charlotte Gainsbourg ('Heute bin ich Samba') und natürlich Dany Boon selbst auf die Kino-Leinwand und anschließend ins Heimkino. Boon gewinnt hier seine warmherzige Komik aus der hinreißenden Naivität und Begeisterungsfähigkeit seiner Figur, die auf Merad und Gainsbourg als unverbindliche und oberflächliche Großstädter trifft. Vor dem weltläufigen Flair der Stadt Paris als Kulisse inszenierte Regisseur Boon seine Charaktere mit mitreißenden Gags, überraschenden Wendungen und einer großen Portion Herzlichkeit.

Tridan Lagache (Dany Boon) has spent his whole life at 'Club Med', changing friends every 8 days. At the age of 50, he leaves the Mexican holiday club where he was born to find his great childhood love Violette - after 42 years. Naïve and lost, Tridan arrives in Paris and is happy to stay with Louis (Kad Merad), his half-brother, of whom he knew nothing at all. But he would rather get rid of the tedious Tridan. With 'Welcome to the Sh'tis' in 2008, Dany Boon created the most successful French film in France to date. Kad Merad ('Welcome to the Sh'tis', 'A Triumph') also took on a leading role in the comedy 'Voll ins Leben' (2023). This time he brings Boon's outstanding humor and terrific situation comedy together with Charlotte Gainsbourg ('Today I Am Samba') and of course Dany Boon himself to the cinema screen and then to the home cinema. Boon derives his warm-hearted comedy from the ravishing naivety and enthusiasm of his character, who meets Merad and Gainsbourg as non-committal and superficial city dwellers. In front of the cosmopolitan flair of the city of Paris as a backdrop, director Boon staged his characters with rousing gags, surprising twists and a large portion of warmth.
