An expressive film about a speechless marriage: 'Hush Hush' takes us into the middle of the deceptive idyll of an American suburb, where 'Baby on Board' stickers stand for fulfilled family happiness. A newlywed young couple (Derek Lux and Ashley Ryan) try to find their place in this world. But a comfortable coexistence is not easy, as both become strangers to each other due to different working hours and the daily routine tips over into a soulless monotony. An unfulfilled desire to have children also puts the partnership to the test. The situation escalates when the husband loses his job. During his online research, he stumbles across relevant portals by chance. Starved for self-affirmation and sexual satisfaction, he slips more and more into a compulsive addiction. Initial feelings of guilt and moral boundaries no longer count. By breaking taboos, he feels liberated. When passion, deceit and voyeurism make him completely out of control, it is his wife, of all people, who dares to take a new path...
