Felix (Henry Hübchen) steht am Hang. Er hat nur eines im Kopf: Valerie (Martina Gedeck), seine Frau, die ihn verlassen hat. Er kehrt zurück an den Ort des endgültigen Bruchs. Valeries Exliebhaber Thomas (Maximilian Simonischek) ist auch hier, aber nicht aus Sentimentalität. Durch Zufall begegnen sich die beiden Männer in einem Restaurant. Als Felix klar wird, wen er vor sich hat, beginnt ein abgründiges Verwirrspiel...
'Am Hang', da steht einer am Hang und kann nicht weiter. Nur eines im Kopf: Die Frau, die ihn verlassen hat, die Ehefrau, mit der er 15 Jahre zusammen war. Felix heisst er, und er kommt nicht weiter. Seine Frau Valerie hatte eine Affäre mit einem anderen Mann, er heißt Thomas. Magisch zieht es Felix an den Ort des endgültigen Bruches, dorthin, wo seine Frau von Thomas verlassen wurde und nicht mehr zurück konnte zu ihm, zu Felix. Auch Thomas ist da an diesem Ort. Aber nicht aus Sentimentalität, nein, ganz trivial, weil er hier ein Ferienhaus hat und übers Wochenende arbeiten will. Felix trifft Thomas im Restaurant. Ohne von ihrer fatal verbundenen Geschichte zu wissen, beginnen sie miteinander zu sprechen. Die latente Ungewissheit, das Lauernde, die bald einkehren in diese Männerbekanntschaft, sind Motor einer subtilen Spannung und erzeugen einen unausweichlichen Sog.
