Sie sind die schärfste und wildeste Girl-Clique der Schule: die Fun-Gang. Gefürchtet bei Lehrern wie bei Schülern. Jede will dazu gehören, doch nur Miriam (Ina Balint), Anika (Ivonne Schönherr), Nic (Stefanie Mühlhan) und Doro (Jasmin Schöler) sind dabei. Ein echtes Landei und gerade erst in die Großstadt gezogen - klar, dass auch Katja (Wolke Hegenbarth) zur Clique gehören will. Aber dazu muss sie erstmal das Vertrauen der anderen Girls gewinnen. Und dann auch noch eine Aufnahmeprüfung bestehen: einen ekligen Riesenfisch küssen und mit einem Jungen schlafen. Schließlich sind nur echte Frauen im Club zugelassen. Die Sache mit dem Fisch ist ja noch easy, aber Sex mit einem Jungen? Das ist auch für Katja nicht so einfach. Von den Jungs der Schule taugt sicher keiner zum Mann der Träume. Bis auf Marc (Dirk Meier). Aber wie soll ausgerechnet sie, das Landei, das Herz des coolsten Jungen der Schule erobern?
'Freundinnen und andere Monster' ist spritzig, frech und voller Tempo. Eine herrlich chaotische Komödie von Mika Kallwass über toughe Girls, unbrauchbare Jungs und das erste Mal. Ein quicklebendiges, schrilles Kinovergnügen mit RTL-Star Wolke Hegenbarth ('Mein Leben und ich') in ihrer ersten großen Rolle.

They are the hottest and wildest girl clique in school: the Fun Gang. Feared by teachers as well as by students. Everyone wants to belong, but only Miriam (Ina Balint), Anika (Ivonne Schönherr), Nic (Stefanie Mühlhan) and Doro (Jasmin Schöler) are there. A real country bumpkin and just moved to the big city - of course Katja (Wolke Hegenbarth) also wants to belong to the clique. But first she has to win the trust of the other girls. And then also pass an entrance exam: kiss a disgusting giant fish and sleep with a boy. After all, only real women are allowed in the club. The thing with the fish is still easy, but sex with a boy? This is not so easy for Katja either. None of the boys at the school is certainly suitable for the man of dreams. Except for Marc (Dirk Meier).
