Im neuen Kinofilm steht zur Freude für Shaun und die Bewohner der 'Mossy Bottom' Farm Halloween vor der Tür. Nur leider zerstört der tollpatschige Farmer kurz vor dem Fest den Kürbisgarten der Schafherde und es liegt nun an Shaun, dafür eine Lösung zu finden. Als Shaun daraufhin zum verrückten Wissenschaftler mutiert, der Farmer urplötzlich verschwunden ist und obendrein noch ein Ungeheuer in den Wäldern von Mossingham umherstreift, ist das Chaos perfekt und alle bereit für ein unheimlich aufregendes, neues Abenteuer...
Nachdem im Mai 2025 erst der Drehstart für den dritten Film über das beliebteste Schaf der Welt angekündigt wurde, stehen nun auch schon der deutsche Titel und Kinostart fest: 'Shaun das Schaf - Spuk im Kürbisfeld' startet in Deutschland am 1. Oktober 2026 in den Kinos! 'Spuk im Kürbisfeld' ist das dritte Kinoabenteuer der weltweit beliebten Marke aus dem Hause 'Aardman' und markiert nach dem weltweiten Erfolg von 'Shaun das Schaf - Der Film' (2015), 'Shaun das Schaf - Der Film 2 - UFO-Alarm' (2019) sowie 'Early Man' (2018) die vierte Zusammenarbeit mit 'Studiocanal'. 'Shaun das Schaf' gehört zu einer der erfolgreichsten Marken von 'Aardman'. Die Serie wird seit Jahren weltweit in über 170 Ländern ausgestrahlt, in 2025 wird die siebte Staffel gesendet. Der erste Spielfilm über Shaun das Schaf wurde mehrfach preisgekrönt, unter anderem mit einen 'Academy Award' für den besten animierten Spielfilm und mit einem 'BAFTA', dem 'British Academy Film Award'. Er gilt als einer der erfolgreichsten Animationsfilme des Jahres 2015. Der zweite Film 'Shaun das Schaf - Der Film 2 - UFO-Alarm' wurde ebenfalls für den 'Oscar' und den 'BAFTA' nominiert. 2021 veröffentlichte das Aardman-Studio mit 'Shaun das Schaf - Die Weihnachtsmission' ein halbstündiges Kurzfilm-Special, welches den International-Emmy gewann. 'Aardman', das mehrfach preisgekrönte unabhängige Animationsstudio, arbeitet mit 'Studiocanal' außerhalb von UK als Partner. 'Shaun das Schaf - Der Film 3 - Spuk im Kürbisfeld' folgt dem Aardman-Erfolg mit 'Wallace & Gromit - Vergeltung mit Flügeln', das zur Weihnachtszeit im britischen Fernsehen Zuschauerrekorde brach und zum meistgesehenen Animationsfilm seit Beginn der Zuschaueraufzeichnungen im Jahr 2002 in Großbritannien wurde. Der Film wurde mit zwei BAFTAs für die beste Animation und den besten Kinder- und Familienfilm ausgezeichnet sowie für einen 'Oscar' als bester animierter Spielfilm nominiert. After the start of filming for the third film about the world's most popular sheep was only announced in May 2025, the German title and theatrical release have now already been determined: 'Shaun the Sheep - Spook in the Pumpkin Field' will be released in cinemas in Germany on October 1, 2026! 'Haunting the Pumpkin Patch' is the third cinema adventure of the globally popular brand from the house of 'Aardman' and marks the fourth collaboration with 'Studiocanal' after the worldwide success of 'Shaun the Sheep - The Movie' (2015), 'Shaun the Sheep - The Movie 2 - UFO Alarm' (2019) and 'Early Man' (2018). 'Shaun the Sheep' is one of the most successful brands of 'Aardman'. The series has been broadcast worldwide in over 170 countries for years, and the seventh season will be broadcast in 2025. The first feature film about Shaun the Sheep won several awards, including an 'Academy Award' for Best Animated Feature Film and a 'BAFTA', the 'British Academy Film Award'. It is considered one of the most successful animated films of 2015. The second film 'Shaun the Sheep - The Movie 2 - UFO Alarm' was also nominated for the 'Oscar' and the 'BAFTA'. In 2021, the Aardman studio released 'Shaun the Sheep - The Christmas Mission', a half-hour short film special, which won the International Emmy. 'Shaun the Sheep - The Movie 3 - Haunting the Pumpkin Field' follows the Aardman success with 'Wallace & Gromit - Retribution with Wings', which broke audience records on British television at Christmas time and became the most-watched animated film since viewership records began in the UK in 2002. The film won two BAFTAs for Best Animation and Best Children's and Family Film, as well as being nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film.
