Ein heftiger Schneesturm hat das öffentliche Leben in Spanien komplett lahm gelegt. Auf dem Weg zu seiner Familie sitzt auch der abgehalfterte Polizist Leo Font (Antonio Resines) auf der verstopften Autobahn fest, als er wegen eines Einsatzes zu einem nahegelegenen Vorfall gerufen wird. Im Auge des Sturms überfällt eine Räuberbande einen Panzerwagen und will sich mit der Beute absetzen. Mit Unterstützung einer jungen Polizistin versucht er, die Kriminellen an der Flucht zu hindern. Die Uhr tickt, denn der Schneesturm wird bald wieder mit ganzer Wucht zuschlagen...
