Stanley's Gig

The contact-impaired ukulele soloist Stanley Myer (William Sanderson) dreams of an engagement on a South Sea cruiser, but in the meantime he has to eke out a living as a music therapist in a retirement home - although it would actually be Stanley who urgently needs therapy. Fate takes a turn for the better when Stanley makes the acquaintance of a formerly acclaimed jazz musician in the old people's home, who is now depressed and withdrawn from depression, and - by reactivating her spirits - finds his way back to his old strength.
