Eine zerbrechliche Dreiecksgeschichte, die sich aus den Geheimnissen der Figuren entwickelt: Sandra (Anabelle Lachatte) verbringt mit ihrer Tochter Jule (Lena Beyerling) und ihrem Freund Benni (Florian Panzner) ihren Urlaub auf einem Campingplatz in Brandenburg. Plötzlich taucht Marco (Martin Kiefer) auf, ein 19-Jähriger, der sowohl mit Sandra als auch mit Benni flirtet und die offensichtlich so harmonische Pärchenbeziehung in Bewegung bringt. Etwas Rätselhaftes umgibt Marco, wo kommt er her, was will er, warum erzählt er nichts über seinen Freund, der letztes Jahr bei einem Unfall ums Leben gekommen ist? Sandra und Benni lassen sich auf seine Annäherungsversuche ein und fahren mit ihm ans Meer nach Polen. Das zerbrechliche Dreieck gerät dabei immer mehr unter Spannung und am Ende der Reise ist nichts mehr wie zuvor...
In seinem Debütfilm 'Unterwegs' (2004) erzählt Jan Krüger ('Rückenwind', 'Auf der Suche', 'Die Geschwister') eine zerbrechliche Dreiecksgeschichte, die sich aus den Geheimnissen ihrer Figuren entwickelt, und an deren Ende nichts mehr so ist wie zuvor. Für sein Roadmovie voller Sehnsüchte und ungeahnter Möglichkeiten wurde Krüger im Jahr 2004 mit dem 'Tiger Award' des Filmfestivals Rotterdam ausgezeichnet.

A fragile love triangle that develops from the secrets of the characters: Sandra (Anabelle Lachatte) spends her vacation with her daughter Jule (Lena Beyerling) and her boyfriend Benni (Florian Panzner) on a campsite in Brandenburg. Suddenly, Marco (Martin Kiefer) appears, a 19-year-old who flirts with both Sandra and Benni and sets the obviously harmonious couple relationship in motion. Something mysterious surrounds Marco, where does he come from, what does he want, why doesn't he say anything about his friend, who died in an accident last year? Sandra and Benni get involved in his advances and take him to the sea in Poland. The fragile triangle comes under more and more tension and at the end of the journey nothing is the same as before...

For his road movie full of longings and undreamt-of possibilities, Krüger was awarded the 'Tiger Award' at the Rotterdam Film Festival in 2004.
