Wie von Geisterhand wird Blank (Patrik Fichte) aus seinem bisherigen Alltag gerissen. Als er später im Krankenhaus aus seinem Koma erwacht, muss er feststellen, dass ihm seine Erinnerung abhandengekommen ist. Ohne zu wissen, wer er ist, ohne Vergangenheit und somit ohne das Gefühl einer Identität macht er sich auf die Suche nach sich selbst. Stationsschwester Maria (Jutta Fastian), die seit Jahren alleine, ohne Mann ihren Sohn Gaspar (Jonathan Sempf-Bähre) aufzieht, wird unfreiwillig zu Blanks Helferin bei der Flucht aus dem Krankenhaus. Auf Blanks abenteuerlicher Suche nach sich selbst wird sie zu seiner Komplizin und begegnet dabei den sieben grundlegenden Spielregeln des Lebens. Ein spannender, lehrreicher und unterhaltsamer Spielfilm, der die sieben Lebensprinzipien aufzeigt, die der Schlüssel bewussten Lebens sind. Nicht nur Maria begleitet Blank auf seiner Odyssee durchs verlorene Leben. Intuitiv spürt er beim kranken Manager (Francis Fulton-Smith), beim bestohlenen Unternehmer (Pascal Breuer), beim hoffnungslosen Bettler (Sebastian Goder), beim gerade Entlassenen (Torsten Münchow) und bei dessen Ehefrau (Lara Joy Körner) sowie bei der kinderlosen Ärztin (Angela Ascher), was Krisen aufzeigen und warum Menschen oft in Situationen stecken, in denen sie scheinbar nicht sein wollen. All diese Spiegelungen helfen Blank, sich Schritt für Schritt im Gegenüber wiederzuerkennen. Blank entdeckt das Prinzip der Polarität als eine der sieben Spielregeln des Lebens und beginnt, es seinen neuen Freunden nahezubringen. Unglaubliches scheint wahr zu werden. Versteckte innere Programme, die jahrelang verdrängt wurden, werden sichtbar und somit nutzbar. As if by magic, Blank (Patrik Fichte) is torn from his previous everyday life. When he wakes up from his coma later in the hospital, he has to realize that he has lost his memory. Without knowing who he is, without a past and thus without a sense of identity, he sets out in search of himself. Ward nurse Maria (Jutta Fastian), who has been raising her son Gaspar (Jonathan Sempf-Bähre) alone and without a husband for years, involuntarily becomes Blank's helper in escaping from the hospital. On Blank's adventurous search for herself, she becomes his accomplice and encounters the seven basic rules of life.
